When I was asked to coordinate the food for a Valentine’s Party and Dance for inner city at-risk youth, I thought……….sure sounds like a great cause and fun too! Well…… then I found out that the party was for 700 persons and that I had to prepare the food at my location and transport it to the party location………..35 miles away!
YIKES, did I ever wish I had Dorothy‘s ruby slippers at that point.
Well, we did it and the party was a great success. I took my posse of talented chefs along and all was well.
We also took some extra hands along to help serve the food.
We were busier than a bunch of Lolly Pop Kids at a candy convention!
But the children had a wonderful time and all was well…..hope we get to do it again!!!
Wow! What a posse….looking good! I see that little Michael Jackson wanna be in the crowd, he sure was something!!!! I wished everyone seeing this could have tasted the food, yum, yum!
What a great time we all had! It was so exciting to see all of these children having the time of their lives. I am fortunate to be a part of this wonderful organization! You’re the one Chef Emil!
The food looks great, and the party looks fun. Looks like you all had a great time. Seems so many exciting things happen just by being around Chef Emil!
